Workplace Violence is now the third leading cause of occupational death and the fastest growing type of homicide in the U.S. Between 850 and 1000 people are murdered on the job each year. It is estimated that some two million workers are victims of physical attack each year and six million are threatened. The cost of Workplace Violence is about $4 Billion annually including property damage, lost productivity, lost sales and negligence lawsuits.
